Charley Bettinger of Vernon, Connecticut, as been in model railroading for over 50 years and started in HO.  In 1988 he changed to S scale.  He enjoys operation and helping others to design and visualize a new layout.

Charley served on the NER Board of Directors and for many years could be found at the registration table with his [now deceased] wife Patty and today is now active in the Pioneer Valley ‘S’-scale.
