Clear
the workbench to get ready for the construction.

These are the raw basic parts of the wagon straight out of the
box.

The
battle figures that came with the wagon plus a few others that will be used.

The
basic wagons of the train will be built from
wood with only details from the original so the first step is to make a
rubber mold of each side.

details from the casting
are then cut apart and filed to proper thickness.

These
are the side rings. Mostly its just a matter
of filing everything flat.

These
are the eagle head corner pieces. They are a
bit harder to file down.

This is
a prototype piece used to determine the width of the wagon and tracks.

The war
train is beginning to take shape. Six steeds will proudly pull the war
train.

The
display case has been built to carry the war
train. Note the shelves were the background figures will look down on

tracks have been laid and the first coat of
varnish has been applied.
